GUARDIAN INSURANCE DIVIDEND HISTORY
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is one of the most respected mutual insurance companies in the industry today. Established in 1860, one of its most notable accolades is centered upon their ability to pay out dividends to each of its policyowners since 1868. As a policyowner that looks for consistent financial stability and company growth from their insurance provider, there are few that can equally compare to Guardian's.
In 2004, The Board of Directors allocated $553.7 million to its individual policyowners for payment in 2005. The graph below display's Guardian's dividend payments over a twenty year span on a $250,000 policy purchased in 1985.
COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS
- Increased the total projected payment of dividends to participating policyholders by 5% from 2004 to 2005
- Paid out $5.8 billion in benefits to policyowners in need across all the companies lines of business. (2005)
- Raised net investment income $87 million for dividend payouts on participating whole life policies and increased earnings for the companies other lines of business. (2005)
